Using the site
By using SaveAgri you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. Reading the site is free and needs no account. An account is needed only to post a listing, send an enquiry or take part in the forum.
What the information is, and what it is not
SaveAgri is an information site. It is not financial advice, not legal advice and not a veterinary or agronomic diagnosis. Decisions you take after reading it are your own.
- Prices are read from published sources and carry the date they were read. They can be out of date by the time you act on them.
- A forecast is a model output with its confidence printed beside it. It is not a promise about what a price will do.
- Scheme, loan and insurance results are guidance built from published rules. Only the department or the lender can decide your application.
- An inspection result lists what may be wrong. It is not a confirmed diagnosis. Confirm it with a qualified expert.
- A page marked as a prototype carries demo records made for testing, not real offers.
We work hard to keep the numbers right and we correct them when we are told they are wrong, but we cannot guarantee that every figure is accurate or current at the moment you read it.
Your account
Keep your sign in to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has got into it. Use your real name, because a listing from a name that is not real is worth nothing to a buyer.
What you post
You keep ownership of your listings and your posts. By putting them on SaveAgri you allow us to show them on the site and in search results. You confirm that what you post is yours to post and is accurate.
Do not post any of the following.
- A listing for something you do not have, or at a price you do not intend to honour.
- Anything illegal to sell, including restricted agricultural chemicals and protected species.
- Someone else's photographs, text or contact details without their permission.
- Abuse, threats, or anything targeting a person or a group.
- Requests for an advance payment, an OTP or a bank detail from another reader.
- Medical, legal or financial advice presented as a professional opinion when you are not qualified to give it.
We remove anything that breaks these rules, and we close accounts that keep doing it.
Deals between readers
When you buy or sell on Mart, the deal is between you and the other person. SaveAgri does not hold your money, does not take a cut, does not inspect the goods and is not a party to the sale. Check what you are buying before you pay for it, and meet somewhere safe.
We verify the agronomists and vets in the expert directory against their registration. We do not stand behind the advice they give you.
Other people's content
Prices, scheme rules and research remain the property of the boards, departments and publishers that produced them. News headlines and articles belong to the publishers we link to, and we store only the headline, the link and a short takeaway. The SaveAgri name, logo and the way the site is put together are ours.
You may read, print and share pages for your own use, and quote a figure if you credit SaveAgri and the original source. Do not copy the site in bulk or run automated collection against it. For research or teaching use, write to data@saveagri.org.
Availability
We try to keep the site up, but we do not promise that it will always be available or that a source we read will keep publishing. Features can change or be withdrawn. Pages marked as being built may arrive later than planned.
Fraud
SaveAgri never charges a fee for a job, a scheme or a loan application, and nobody from SaveAgri will ever ask you for an OTP or a bank detail. If anyone claiming to be from SaveAgri does, stop and report it through the contact page.
Ending it
You can close your account at any time from your account pages or by writing to privacy@saveagri.org. We can close an account that breaks these terms. Your listings and posts come down with it, subject to the retention periods in the privacy policy.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts of Bengaluru have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
We will change this page when the terms change and move the date at the top. If a change materially affects what you can do on the site, we will say so on the site.
