Internships on record, and where to look when nothing is listed.

Most agriculture internships are never advertised publicly. They are arranged college by college and institute by institute, which is why the list below the openings matters more than the openings do.

Nothing is on record right now. We list something here only after a person has read the notice and recorded the day they read it, because a student travels for these and a stale entry wastes a journey.

Where these are advertised

Your own university placement cell
Most agriculture internships are arranged college by college rather than advertised publicly.
How
Ask the placement cell and your department head in the same week. They often hear separately.
ICAR institutes and Krishi Vigyan Kendras
Research institutes take students for summer and project work, usually without advertising it.
How
Write to the institute directly with your marksheet and what you want to learn. A short letter works better than a form.
Input and seed companies
Seed, fertiliser and machinery companies run structured summer programmes, mostly for second and third year students.

Their own careers pages, and their stalls at agriculture fairs, which is where they actually recruit.
Farmer producer organisations near you
An FPO will rarely advertise, and will often say yes to a student who turns up with a specific offer of work.
