Where agriculture is taught and researched, and which official lists to trust while this one fills.
No college is listed here until somebody has checked it. A stale entry on a page like this sends a student to a course that has closed or was never accredited, and that costs a year.No institute has been checked and added yet. Until one is, use the official lists below rather than a directory nobody has verified.
The lists worth trusting
- The Indian Council of Agricultural Research publishes which universities and institutes it recognises, which is the list that matters for accreditation.
- Every state has at least one state agricultural university, and it publishes its own constituent colleges.
- Your state agriculture department lists the polytechnics and training centres that run diplomas and short courses.
- Your district Krishi Vigyan Kendra knows what is actually running near you, including courses that no website mentions.
Before you pay any fee, check the institute against the official list and check that the specific course is accredited, not just the institute.
