Nobody publishes where and when the weekly markets run. It is word of mouth, and it changes. This is built from what farmers post.
Monday, Thursday · 05:00 to 13:00
Mango market yard on the Hosur road, Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu
Runs only through the mango season, roughly April to July. Traders come up from Bengaluru and Chennai. Outside the season the ground is empty, so do not make the trip in September.

Open ground on the Kumbakonam road, past the sugar mill, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu
Livestock shandy that has run on the same ground for over 40 years. Mostly cattle and goats, with a smaller poultry section at the back. Bring your own rope. Deals are cash and there is no weighbridge, so agree the price on sight.
Tuesday, Friday · 05:30 to 12:00
Behind the bus stand, near the water tank, Erode, Tamil Nadu
One of the biggest vegetable markets in the district. Busiest before 9 in the morning, and prices drop sharply after 11 when the traders have filled their loads. Park on the far side, the near gate jams by 7.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday · 06:00 to 11:00
Next to the collectorate, main gate side, Salem, Tamil Nadu
Farmer market run by the agriculture department, so only growers can sell here and there is no middleman. You need a card from the office to take a stall. Good prices for the grower, and the buyers know it, so it fills early.
