Who is not eligible
There is no exclusion by category. A card cannot be issued without a properly drawn soil sample from an identified survey number.
Documents needed
- Aadhaar or other identity proof
- Land record with survey number
- Mobile number for the result notification
Deadline
Sampling runs in cycles through the agriculture department. Ask your village agricultural extension officer when your area is next sampled.
How to apply
- Contact your village agricultural extension officer or the block agriculture office.
- A soil sample is collected from your field, following the correct depth and mixing method.
- The tested card, showing nutrient levels and fertiliser advice, is delivered to you and stored on the national portal.
If rejected
- If no card arrives, check the national portal using your details.
- Ask the block office whether the sample from your survey number was actually lodged at the laboratory.
- Request a fresh sample if the earlier one was not drawn correctly.
