Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme

The scheme "Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme" launched by the Horticulture and Food Processing Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh aims to protect farmers from weather-related losses through insurance coverage for selected crops cultivated during Kharif and Rabi seasons.

• Insurance Coverage for Crops: Provides protection to crops against losses caused by adverse weather conditions such as high or low temperatures, excess or deficient rainfall, and wind speed.
  

• The applicant must be a farmer.
• The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

• The applicant should contact the District Office of the Horticulture Department.
