Assistance for Planting Vegetable Crops for Raw and Ripe Mandap

The scheme "Assistance for Planting Vegetable Crops for Raw and Ripe Mandap" introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department, Gujarat, aims to offer financial support to farmers across Gujarat for constructing vegetable trellises (mandaps) using wooden/bamboo supports and GI/plastic wires.

Raw Mandap (Tomato/Chilli and other vegetables):

- General Farmers: 50% subsidy, up to ₹26,000/ha. - SC/ST Farmers: 75% subsidy, up to ₹39,000/ha.

Semi-ripe Mandap (Vine vegetables):

- General Farmers: 50% subsidy, up to ₹40,000/ha. - SC/ST Farmers: 75% subsidy, up to ₹60,000/ha.

Ripe Mandap (Vine vegetables):

- General Farmers: 50% subsidy, up to ₹80,000/ha. - SC/ST Farmers: 75% subsidy, up to ₹1,20,000/ha.

Other Support Details:

- Maximum area eligible: 2 hectares per farmer. - Construction material: 1600 wooden/bamboo poles per hectare, 400 kg GI wire (12-18 gauge) or plastic wire. - Recommended spacing: 2.50 x 2.50 meters.

1. The applicant must be a farmer.
2. The applicant must be residing in Gujarat.

Online application

Step 1: The applicant may visit and apply online at I-Khedut Portal: https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/

Step 2: On the home page, click on ‘Schemes’ and then click on ‘Agricultural Schemes’.

Step 3: Now select the scheme, click on the ‘Apply’ button and an application page will open.

Step 4: Click on "Apply New" button and submit a new application.

Step 5: Click on the "Update Application" button to add corrections to the application.

Step 6: Once the application is done, confirm it.

Step 7: Take a print out of the confirmed application.
