Assistance for Cultivation of Medicinal/ Aromatic Crops

The scheme "Assistance for Cultivation of Medicinal/ Aromatic Crops" introduced by the Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Cooperation Department, Gujarat, aims to encourage the cultivation of medicinal and aromatic plants to promote alternative agriculture and improve farmers' income.

Benefits

  • Financial assistance up to 75% of the cost or ₹11,250/- per hectare, whichever is lower.

Who can apply (eligibility)

  1. The applicant must be a farmer.
  2. The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.
  3. Applicant must possess cultivable land ranging from 0.20 hectares to 4 hectares.

How to apply

Online application

Step-1: The applicant may visit and apply online at I-Khedut Portal: https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/

Step-2: On the home page, click on ‘Schemes’ and then click on ‘Agricultural Schemes’.

Step-3: Now select the scheme, click on the ‘Apply’ button and an application page will open.

Step-4: Click on "Apply New" button and submit a new application.

Step-5: Click on the "Update Application" button to add corrections to the application.

Step-6: Once the application is done, confirm it.

Step-7: Take a print out of the confirmed application.
