About SCSPDSFIK
The scheme "AGR-4 Scheduled Castes Sub-Plan for Distribution of Seeds and Fertilizers Input Kits at Subsidised Rates to Scheduled Caste Cultivators" by the Agriculture and Co-operation Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to support Scheduled Caste cultivators by providing agricultural input kits at subsidised rates for enhancing soil fertility and improving crop yield. The main objective of the scheme is to strengthen the farming practices of Scheduled Caste farmers by making available critical resources such as castor cake, neem cake, liquid fermented organic manure, or green manure seeds at concessional rates. Beneficiaries can avail these inputs for cultivation on a maximum of 2 hectares per account, ensuring equitable distribution and wider coverage.
Benefits
- Subsidized Rates: SC farmers receive essential agricultural inputs like seeds and fertilizers at significantly reduced costs. - Access to Quality Inputs: The scheme ensures farmers have access to high-quality minor and micro-elements, castor cake, neem cake, liquid fermented organic manure, or green manure seeds. - Reduced Cultivation Costs: By providing subsidized inputs, the scheme lowers the overall cost of cultivation, helping to improve the economic viability of farming for SC cultivators.
