Nitrogen Phosphorus and Potassium are three main nutrients for plants. Nitrogen is essential nutrient for plant growth.
Nitrogen is main component of chlorophyll.

Nitrogen is needed for the creation of Chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is needed for Photosynthesis. Plants make food by the process of Photosynthesis. Plants use Sunlight to prepare their own food. Plants take carbon dioxide from air and take water from soil. Chlorophyll absorbs the sunlight. Plant uses the light energy to change water and carbon dioxide into oxygen and nutrients. Oxygen is released from the leaves to the atmosphere.
78% of atmosphere is made up of Nitrogen. Atmospheric nitrogen is major source of nitrogen in soil.
Tips to Care
Manure
Cow dung or Goat dung to soil. It has nitrogen. We can also add chicken manure to soil it has high Nitrogen.
Add used coffee powder to soil.
We can also add used tea waste to soil.
Grass clippings
Jaggery with Grass clippings
Take some grass clipping add equal amount of jaggery mix well. Items should be completely free from moisture. Add this in airtight container. Shake it daily without opening. Keep it for 20 days. Then use this for plants.Great sources of Nitrogen
